What InstaPay covers

PPMI describes InstaPay as real-time, low-value electronic fund transfers between customers of participating banks and e-money issuers. It runs four kinds of payment:

InstaPay service What it does
P2P (person to person) Send money to another person’s bank or e-wallet account, by account details or by InstaPay QR
QR Ph P2M (person to merchant) Pay a store by scanning its QR Ph code; free for consumers
P2B, Bills Pay PH (person to biller) Pay utility, subscription and other bills, by QR or without; free
Cash-in Load your own e-wallet or bank account in real time

For P2P transfers, PPMI says fees range from free to a minimal amount depending on the sending institution. The BSP’s Summary of Transfer Fees via Digital Channels ↗ lists them, and our InstaPay and PESONet fee table sets them side by side.

All 93 InstaPay participants

The list below follows PPMI’s “Member Institutions and their respective ACH participation” page, InstaPay column, in PPMI’s order and spelling. Several e-wallets appear under their company names: GCash’s terms name G-Xchange, Inc. as the company behind GCash, and the BSP’s fee summary labels Gpay Network PH as GrabPay and PPS-PEPP Financial Services as PalawanPay.

How to check before you send

  1. Find the receiving bank or e-wallet in the table above. If it is not there, InstaPay cannot deliver to it; use PESONet instead (see the PESONet participant list).
  2. In your own bank or e-wallet app, pick InstaPay as the transfer channel.
  3. Keep the amount at ₱50,000 or below per transaction. Your own bank or e-wallet may set a lower daily limit; see, for example, GCash limits.
  4. Check the fee on the confirmation screen before you send. Fees by institution are on InstaPay and PESONet transfer fees.

Warning InstaPay credits the recipient almost instantly, PPMI says. Check the account number and the name on the confirmation screen before you tap Send.
