BPI to GCash: the fee, the limits and how long a transfer takes, from BPI’s and GCash’s own pages.
Short answer Sending money from BPI to GCash is free when you start it in the BPI app or BPI Online: since July 1, 2026, BPI charges ₱0 for InstaPay and PESONet transfers to other banks and e-wallets. InstaPay arrives in real time, up to ₱50,000 per transfer. Pulling the money from the GCash app instead, through a linked BPI account, costs ₱15 per cash in.

What it costs
There are two ways to move money from BPI to GCash, and they cost different amounts. A transfer you send from BPI goes out over InstaPay or PESONet, which BPI made “permanently free” from July 1, 2026, replacing its previous ₱10 InstaPay and ₱50 PESONet fees. The BSP’s summary of digital transfer fees records BPI’s InstaPay and PESONet for individual clients as free from the same date. A cash in you start from the GCash app pulls the money from a BPI account linked to GCash; BPI and GCash both list ₱15 for it.
| Route | Started from | Fee | Rail | Arrives |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Transfer to another bank/e-wallet > G-Xchange (GCash) | BPI app or BPI Online | ₱0 | InstaPay | Real-time |
| Same transfer by PESONet | BPI app or BPI Online | ₱0 | PESONet | Banking days |
| Cash In > My Banks > BPI | GCash app, linked BPI account | ₱15 | Linked account | Real-time |
BPI says the ₱15 linked cash-in fee took effect on October 1, 2025. Since February 13, 2025, BPI has loaded GCash through Transfer to other banks, choosing G-Xchange for GCash, under industry rules on loading e-wallets (BPI ↗ · ). The fees every other bank and e-wallet charge are on InstaPay and PESONet transfer fees.
How much you can send
Three limits apply at once: the InstaPay cap on each transfer, your BPI daily limit and the incoming limit of your GCash profile.
- Per transfer: InstaPay is capped at ₱50,000 per transaction; BPI allows an unlimited number of InstaPay transactions (BPI ↗ · ). PESONet from BPI goes up to ₱250,000 per transaction (BPI ↗ · ).
- BPI per day: the default daily limit for transfers to other banks and e-wallets is ₱50,000, which you can change under More > Transactions > Customize transactions limits (BPI ↗ · ). BPI’s InstaPay page gives a daily aggregate limit of ₱250,000, or ₱500,000 for BPI Preferred, Gold and Private Banking clients, counting InstaPay, PESONet, cash ins and loads together.
- Linked cash in from GCash: minimum ₱1 and a default e-wallet cash-in limit of ₱10,000 a day on BPI’s side (BPI ↗ · ); GCash requires a Fully Verified account and allows up to ₱50,000 per transaction (GCash ↗ · ).
| GCash profile | Wallet limit | Monthly incoming limit |
|---|---|---|
| Basic | ₱10,000 | ₱5,000 |
| GCash Jr. | ₱100,000 | ₱100,000 |
| Fully Verified | ₱1,000,000 | ₱1,000,000 |
| 5M | ₱5,000,000 | ₱5,000,000 |
| 10M | ₱10,000,000 | ₱10,000,000 |
Every profile is on GCash limit by profile. GCash says a transfer that would take you over your limit fails and the money goes back to the sender (GCash ↗ · ).

Check the mobile number before you confirm, and never share your Mobile Key, MPIN or one-time PIN with anyone offering to speed up or reverse a transfer.
