GCash limit: Fully Verified users may hold ₱1,000,000, move ₱1,000,000 a month and send ₱500,000 a day.

Below are the limits for every GCash profile. Every figure comes from GCash’s own Help Center or the bank that publishes it, with the date we checked it.

Short answer Your GCash limit depends on your profile. A Fully Verified adult can keep up to ₱1,000,000 in the wallet, receive ₱1,000,000 a month and send ₱500,000 a day, within ₱1,000,000 a month. A Basic (non-verified) account is capped at ₱10,000 in the wallet and ₱5,000 in or out per month. Monthly limits reset on the 1st day of each month.

GCash limits by profile

GCash sets three kinds of limit. The wallet limit is the most you can keep in GCash at any time. The incoming limit is the most you can receive, through cash in or money sent to you. The outgoing limit is the most you can spend and send: Send Money, bank transfers and cash out all count against it.

Profile Who it is for Wallet limit (any time) Incoming per month Outgoing per month Outgoing per day
Basic Non-verified users, minors and adults ₱10,000 ₱5,000 ₱5,000 No limit
GCash Jr. Fully verified users aged 7 to 17 ₱100,000 ₱100,000 ₱100,000 ₱100,000
Fully Verified Fully Verified adults, GTourist and PowerPay Plus users ₱1,000,000 ₱1,000,000 ₱1,000,000 ₱500,000
5M Eligible customers with active GSave or GFunds, GBonds, GStocks, GCrypto, or users of accredited GCash partners; subject to approval ₱5,000,000 ₱5,000,000 ₱5,000,000 ₱1,000,000
10M Eligible customers with active GSave and GFunds, GBonds, GStocks, GCrypto; subject to approval ₱10,000,000 ₱10,000,000 ₱10,000,000 ₱1,000,000

GCash says that once you reach a limit, you cannot use certain services “until it resets on the 1st day of the following month or you upgrade your profile”. To see the new limits on your own account, GCash asks you to update the app to the latest version, then tap Profile > Profile Limits.

A Fully Verified user who sends a lot should watch the monthly figure as well as the daily one: ₱500,000 can go out in a single day, and two such days use up the whole ₱1,000,000 for the month.

Limits on each transfer and service

Your profile limit is not the only cap. Some services carry their own limits on top of it.

GCash Card, ATM withdrawal ₱20,099 per withdrawal, ₱40,099 per day (resets at 12:30 AM) GCash ↗

A Fully Verified user can therefore move ₱500,000 to a bank in one day only as several transfers of up to ₱50,000 each. What each transfer costs is on GCash fees and InstaPay and PESONet transfer fees; the ways to withdraw cash and their fees are on where to cash out GCash.

How to increase your GCash limit

GCash lists these official routes (GCash ↗ · ):

  1. Adult with a Basic account: get Fully Verified. GCash says this raises your limit to ₱1,000,000.
  2. Minor with a Basic account: get Fully Verified. This raises the wallet limit to ₱100,000 (GCash Jr.).
  3. GCash Platinum: GCash says to contact Globe directly.
  4. 5M and 10M profiles: for eligible customers with the active GSave, GFunds, GBonds, GStocks or GCrypto accounts listed in the table, subject to GCash’s approval.

GCash adds that lowering your limit is not available: “Currently, downgrading to a lower wallet limit is not available.”

Warning GCash raises limits only through verification inside the app. Ignore anyone on Facebook, Telegram or SMS who offers to “upgrade” or “unlock” your limit for a fee, and never share your MPIN or one-time PIN.

More than one GCash account

Adults can create up to five accounts, and GCash links them automatically to one customer profile. Minors aged 7 to 17 can have one account per customer profile. When accounts are linked, the highest limit applies to all of them, but the limits are not added together: if one number has already received ₱1,000,000 in a month, the other linked accounts cannot receive more until the limit resets (GCash ↗ · ). The ownership limit counts up to five fully verified personal accounts under your name (GCash ↗ · ).
