Every GCash fee in one place: cash in, cash out, send and bank transfer.
Short answer GCash charges ₱10 for an InstaPay transfer to a bank or another e-wallet since July 4, 2026, and nothing to send money to another GCash wallet by QR. Cash in over the counter is free up to ₱8,000 a month, then 2%, and 7-Eleven adds 1% of its own. Cash out at a partner outlet costs 2% on every cash out.

What changed for InstaPay in July 2026
What changed
The ₱10 figure rests on two pages. GCash’s help-centre advisory says “Starting July 4, 2026, InstaPay transfers will be lowered to Php 10 per transaction” and tells users to update the app so the new fee shows. The BSP’s transfer-fee summary lists ₱10 for G-Xchange with the footnote “Fees lower to P10.00 effective on 4 July 2026.”
GCash’s own article on transfers to local banks or e-wallets still showed ₱15 when it was , so the two GCash pages disagree with each other. Bank-side fees changed in the same weeks and differ by institution, which is set out in transfer fees by bank.
GCash wallet limits by verification level
| Level | Wallet limit at any time | Incoming, monthly | Outgoing, daily | Outgoing, monthly |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | ₱10,000 | ₱5,000 | No limit | ₱5,000 |
| GCash Jr. | ₱100,000 | ₱100,000 | ₱100,000 | ₱100,000 |
| Fully Verified | ₱1,000,000 | ₱1,000,000 | ₱500,000 | ₱1,000,000 |
| 5M | ₱5,000,000 | ₱5,000,000 | ₱1,000,000 | ₱5,000,000 |
| 10M | ₱10,000,000 | ₱10,000,000 | ₱1,000,000 | ₱10,000,000 |
Basic covers non-verified users and GCash Jr. fully verified users aged 7 to 17; the 5M and 10M profiles are for eligible customers with active GSave, GFunds, GBonds, GStocks or GCrypto accounts, subject to approval. Transaction limits reset on the 1st day of each month, and linked accounts of one user share the highest limit without adding up. An adult with a Basic account raises it to ₱1,000,000 by getting Fully Verified. Every profile is on GCash limit by profile.
Cash in at 7-Eleven and other partner outlets
7-Eleven charges 1% “on all GCash cash in transactions regardless of the amount”, deducted from the amount credited, and says GCash’s own fees stay as they are. You generate a barcode in the CLiQQ app and pay the cashier in cash. GCash’s ₱8,000 monthly free allowance still runs alongside that 1%, and GCash gives its own worked example: after ₱7,000 of cash in that month, a ₱1,100 cash in costs ₱2, because ₱100 crosses the limit at 2%.
Palawan Pawnshop states that cash in to a GCash wallet there is free, within ₱100 to ₱50,000 per transaction. Cebuana Lhuillier’s authorized agents set the cash-in fee per branch. At a GCash Pera Outlet the suggested fee is 1%, but the outlet decides, so ask before handing over the money. GCash also names Bayad Center, Puregold, SM, M. Lhuillier, LBC Express and Mercury Drug among its over-the-counter partners.
Bills payment fees
There is no single GCash convenience fee for bills: “Fees depend on the biller.” The figures GCash publishes include ₱0 for Meralco, ₱7 for Globe Postpaid and Globe At Home, ₱7 for PLDT and SMART, ₱6 for Manila Water and ₱12 for Easytrip RFID. The same page lists ₱10 for Maynilad from February 3, 2026, and ₱12 for Converge and Autosweep from March 24, 2026.
