Payoneer to GCash: Link Accounts and Cash In

Payoneer to GCash moves cash from your own linked account. Both names must match, both accounts must be verified.

Before starting, check that both accounts are verified, their names match and your GCash wallet has room for the incoming amount. GCash handles linking and cash-in as separate steps, so a successfully linked account is not yet a completed transfer.

Short answer Link Payoneer through GCash’s Profile → My Linked Accounts → Payoneer → Link Account. After confirmation, use Cash In → Global Banks and Partners → Payoneer, choose the currency and amount, review the transaction and enter the OTP in the app. GCash says the cash-in may take about five minutes.

Before you connect the accounts

Payoneer’s guide, dated August 31, 2026, specifies matching account names. Use your own verified accounts. Someone else’s wallet is not a substitute for fixing your account details.

Check both the wallet balance allowance and incoming transaction allowance in GCash. They answer different questions: how much the wallet can hold and how much it can receive within the applicable period. Link Payoneer in GCash

1. Open the official GCash app and tap Profile.
2. Choose My Linked Accounts → Payoneer → Link Account.
3. Enter your Payoneer login in the linking flow.
4. Enter the SMS code as instructed.
5. Wait for the text confirming that the account is linked.

GCash’s help page provides this sequence. Payoneer’s own guide also describes an entry through Cash In and the Payoneer partner. If your app displays that entry, follow its official prompts; the Profile path above is the explicit route in GCash’s linking instructions.

If you do not yet have a Payoneer account, GCash documents Profile → My Linked Accounts → Payoneer → Create an Account. It offers registration with GCash auto-fill or manual entry. GCash says the review may take up to three business days and advises checking your Payoneer email for updates. Registration and approval are separate from the later cash-in.

Cash in from the linked balance

1. Tap Cash In in GCash.
2. Open Global Banks and Partners → Payoneer.
3. Pick the wallet currency.
4. Enter the amount.
5. Check the details and tap Confirm.
6. Enter the OTP sent to your GCash number.

GCash says it sends an SMS when the cash-in is done. Check the credited balance in your own wallet as well as the confirmation. Keep the transaction reference and the details until both sides of the transfer are clear.

Do not read the five-minute estimate as permission to submit the same cash-in repeatedly. If money has been deducted and the result is unclear, check the transaction status and use official support with the reference, amount and time.

Compare the amount you give up with the amount you receive

When a foreign-currency balance becomes pesos, compare the source amount with the peso amount shown for the proposed transaction. Check any displayed fee and conversion information before confirming. A provider’s description of the route as convenient does not establish the lowest cost for your account.

For a simple comparison, record the source currency, source amount, any separately displayed charge and final PHP credit. If another withdrawal route is available to you, compare quotes taken at the same time for the same source amount. Different quote times can make a currency comparison misleading.

This Payoneer cash-in is a separate route from PayPal to GCash and a local BDO to GCash transfer. Their steps and charges cannot be carried over to this transaction merely because all three end in GCash.

Details for the person paying you

A client paying your Payoneer account needs the receiving instructions supplied by Payoneer for the payment method you are using. The later GCash cash-in is a movement from your linked Payoneer balance, carried out by you.

Keep login credentials, SMS codes and OTPs out of client instructions. A client does not need your GCash OTP to pay your Payoneer account.
