Every way to cash out GCash, with its fee, limits and timing.
Short answer Cash out means taking money out of your GCash wallet as cash. You can do it with a GCash Card at any BancNet ATM, without a card at select RCBC ATMs, or over the counter at pawnshops, supermarkets and payment centers. Partner outlets charge 2% of every cash out, RCBC cardless withdrawals cost ₱18, and ATM fees are set by the ATM owner at ₱0 to ₱18.

GCash Card at an ATM
The card works at any BancNet ATM in the Philippines and at card-enabled ATMs worldwide, and GCash says it “is available only to Fully Verified GCash users” (GCash Help Center · ). GCash does not set the withdrawal fee: it is “charged by the ATM provider and may vary based on BSP-approved rates”, within a range of ₱0 to ₱18, so the bank that owns the machine is the one to check (GCash Help Center · ). A single withdrawal is capped at ₱20,099 and a day at ₱40,099, with the daily counter resetting at 12:30 AM.
Cash out without a card
Scan to Withdraw takes cash out of a select RCBC ATM using a QR code from the GCash app, for Fully Verified users only. The fee is ₱18, the amount must be between ₱100 and ₱5,000 per transaction, and GCash promises cash “within 20 seconds”; if the withdrawal fails, “funds will be returned to your wallet within 10 minutes” (GCash Help Center · ). Each QR code expires in 5 minutes, you cannot screenshot it, and three unused codes in one day temporarily block you from making new ones. The RCBC branch finder lists the machines.
Cash out over the counter
Over-the-counter cash out has no free allowance: “A 2% fee applies for all cash outs”, unlike cash in, where GCash gives a free monthly allowance at the same partners (GCash Help Center · ; see GCash fees). GCash counts “over 413,000 partner outlets and branches nationwide” for cash out (GCash · ). Cebuana Lhuillier advertises cash in and cash out at more than 3,000 branches and more than 20,000 authorized agents (Cebuana Lhuillier · ), and Mynt announced M Lhuillier cash in and cash out at over 3,000 branches on November 28, 2023 (Mynt · ).
The 2023 M Lhuillier release describes a minimum 2% fee only above ₱8,000 a month; GCash’s current help centre applies 2% to every cash out, and that is the figure to plan with.
Cash out at 7-Eleven and Palawan
7-Eleven’s GCash help page covers cash in, with its own 1% convenience fee “deducted automatically from the amount cashed in” (7-Eleven Assist · ). Mynt announced GCash cash out at over 3,500 Palawan Pawnshop outlets on August 20, 2025, saying “Transactions are processed within minutes” (Mynt · ); GCash’s current partner list names Palawan for cash in, so check the app before you go.

How much you can cash out
Every cash out is an outgoing transaction, so your account level caps it on top of any per-method limit.
| Account level | Outgoing daily | Outgoing monthly |
|---|---|---|
| Basic | No limit | ₱5,000 |
| GCash Jr. | ₱100,000 | ₱100,000 |
| Fully Verified | ₱500,000 | ₱1,000,000 |
| 5M | ₱1,000,000 | ₱5,000,000 |
| 10M | ₱1,000,000 | ₱10,000,000 |
Every profile is on GCash limit by profile.
The monthly counter resets at the start of the month. An adult can have up to five GCash accounts, which GCash automatically links to one customer profile; the highest limit among them applies to all of them, and the limits are not combined into a higher total, so extra accounts do not raise the ceiling (GCash Help Center · ).
Transfer to your bank, then withdraw
If you already have a bank account, sending the money out by InstaPay and withdrawing it there costs ₱10 per transfer plus your bank’s own ATM terms, which is cheaper than 2% above ₱500. GCash’s advisory says “InstaPay transfers will be lowered to Php 10 per transaction”, and the BSP fee summary lists ₱10 for G-Xchange with a footnote dating it to July 4, 2026 (GCash Help Center, BSP · ). Transfers arrive in real time. Bank-side charges are in transfer fees.

GCash’s own transfer article still showed ₱15 when , while the help-centre advisory and the BSP summary both give ₱10 (GCash Help Center · ).
Warning Cash out only at an authorized GCash partner or an authorized GCash Pera Outlet. GCash states that it “will NEVER send you links via SMS/email or ask for your MPIN/OTP”, warns about social media pages posing as customer support, and says funds lost to a scam cannot be returned (GCash Help Center, GCash Help Center · ). Report a scam through Gigi in the app or the hotline 2882.
