What it costs
RCBC’s Pulz FAQs say person-to-person transfer fees to other banks and e-wallets via InstaPay on the RCBC Pulz mobile app and website were waived by July 10, 2026, and PESONet fees by July 15, 2026. The waiver applies to all InstaPay and PESONet transfers made through the RCBC Pulz app and website, with no minimum amount (RCBC ↗). RCBC’s own article on the change describes the transfers as unlimited and free on its mobile apps (RCBC ↗).
| Route | Fee | Per transfer | Per day |
|---|---|---|---|
| InstaPay from RCBC Pulz to GCash | ₱0 | ₱50,000 | ₱50,000 to GCash |
| PESONet from RCBC Pulz | ₱0 | ₱499,999 | ₱500,000 total for all transfers to other accounts |
The BSP’s Summary of Transfer Fees via Digital Channels also lists RCBC as free for individual clients on both InstaPay and PESONet (BSP ↗ · ).
Two older fee lines remain on RCBC’s site. The online fund transfers page lists a ₱10 fee for InstaPay and for PESONet, and the RCBC Online Banking section of the Pulz FAQs lists ₱25 per InstaPay transfer and ₱10 per PESONet transfer. Read the fee on the confirmation screen before you send. The fees every other bank and e-wallet charge are on InstaPay and PESONet transfer fees.
How much you can send
RCBC limits what leaves your account, and your GCash profile limits what comes in. Both apply to the same transfer.
- RCBC, InstaPay: up to ₱50,000 per transaction, with no minimum (RCBC ↗).
- RCBC, PESONet: up to ₱499,999 per transaction.
- RCBC, to e-wallets: transfers to GCash, Maya, GrabPay, ShopeePay and Coins.ph have a daily transfer limit of ₱50,000 (RCBC ↗).
- RCBC, daily total: InstaPay and PESONet transfers share a ₱500,000 daily aggregate limit per user with every other third-party transfer, including transfers to other RCBC accounts.
GCash sets its own limits for money coming in through a bank transfer:
| GCash limit for InstaPay or PESONet cash in | InstaPay | PESONet |
|---|---|---|
| Per transaction | Up to ₱50,000 | Can be more than ₱50,000 |
| Daily incoming | ₱10,000 within 2 weeks of your first cash in, then ₱50,000 | Varies per bank |
| Monthly incoming | ₱100,000 (Fully Verified), ₱500,000 (GCash Plus) | ₱100,000 (Fully Verified), ₱500,000 (GCash Plus) |
Your GCash profile also has an overall wallet limit and monthly incoming limit, from ₱10,000 and ₱5,000 for a Basic profile to ₱1,000,000 for Fully Verified adults (GCash ↗ · ). Every profile is on GCash limit by profile.

How long it takes
- InstaPayright awayRCBC says InstaPay transfers are credited in real time, and GCash lists InstaPay cash ins as credited right away.
- PESONetsame banking day if approved by 2:00 PM PHTRCBC passes PESONet transfers to the clearing house in three daily cycles; transfers after the cut-off, on weekends or on holidays are credited the next banking day. GCash describes PESONet cash ins as usually arriving the next banking day.
| PESONet transfer approved in RCBC (banking days) | PCHC clears and sends the funds to GCash |
|---|---|
| 2:01 PM of the previous banking day to 9:00 AM | 10:00 AM |
| 9:01 AM to 12:00 noon | 1:00 PM |
| 12:01 PM to 2:00 PM | 4:00 PM |
GCash lists its own PESONet credit times in the same three batches: funds by 10:00 AM, 1:00 PM or 4:00 PM (GCash ↗ · ). Other banks’ cut-offs are on PESONet cut-off times by bank, and the two rails are compared on PESONet vs InstaPay.
Warning InstaPay and PESONet send to the account number you type. Check your GCash mobile number before you confirm, and never share your OTP or MPIN with anyone who offers to speed up, cancel or reverse a transfer.
Tip When RCBC schedules InstaPay maintenance, its advisories point customers to PESONet for the duration. Check RCBC’s newsroom before a time-sensitive transfer.
