How much you can send
Security Bank limits what leaves your account, and your GCash profile limits what comes in. Both apply to the same transfer.
- Security Bank, InstaPay: up to ₱50,000 per transaction and ₱350,000 per day in the Security Bank app, with multiple transfers allowed within your account’s daily limit (Security Bank ↗).
- Security Bank, PESONet: up to ₱500,000 per day in the app, with unlimited transfers inside that cap (Security Bank ↗).
- Eligible accounts: only peso savings and current accounts can send by InstaPay; foreign currency accounts and GoalSetter savings cannot. For PESONet, foreign currency and eSecureSavings accounts cannot send (Security Bank ↗).
GCash sets its own limits for money coming in through a bank transfer:

GCash sends an SMS to confirm the cash in. Security Bank sends two notifications for an InstaPay transfer: a confirmation when the transfer is submitted and a success notice by email and in the app once the funds are credited (Security Bank ↗).
Security Bank also publishes steps for linking a bank card in GCash under Cash In, then Bank Cards in My Linked Accounts (Security Bank ↗). That route moves money from your own card account into your own wallet.

Other banks’ cut-offs are on PESONet cut-off times by bank, and the two rails are compared on PESONet vs InstaPay.
Warning InstaPay and PESONet send to the account number you type. Check your GCash mobile number before you confirm, and never share your OTP or MPIN with anyone who offers to speed up, cancel or reverse a transfer.
Tip For a time-sensitive transfer use InstaPay. A PESONet transfer sent after 4:00 PM, on a weekend or on a holiday is credited the next banking day.
