Philippine National Bank says PESONet transfers will not be processed on Monday, November 2, 2026, while the country observes All Souls’ Day as a special non-working day.
The bank’s advisory gives one practical cut-off: PESONet transfers submitted after 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 30, through Monday, November 2, are scheduled for processing on Tuesday, November 3.

What PNB customers need to know
PNB’s published schedule covers outgoing PESONet transfers in PNB Digital:
| Transaction period | Processing date |
|---|---|
| After 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 30, through Monday, November 2 | Tuesday, November 3 |
This means a transfer can still be submitted during the holiday window, but PNB says it will wait for the next processing date. The recipient should not be promised same-day arrival during that period.
For an urgent transfer, PNB tells customers to use InstaPay. InstaPay is the real-time alternative, but the sending bank’s fee, per-transaction limit, account status and any maintenance notice still apply.
Why November 2 changes the schedule
The Philippine government lists November 2, 2026, as an additional special non-working day for All Souls’ Day. PESONet is a batch electronic funds transfer service, so bank cut-offs and banking days affect when a submitted instruction enters processing.
The November 2 rule in this story is PNB’s own published timetable. Customers of another bank should check that bank’s advisory rather than assume it uses the same cut-off.
Before sending
If the payment is time-sensitive, confirm the recipient details and decide whether the amount fits your bank’s InstaPay rules. If it can wait, keep the PNB transaction reference and check the status on November 3 before sending a second transfer.
Do not resend only because the money has not arrived during the holiday window. A duplicate transfer may also process when PESONet resumes.
