RCBC stops charging individual clients for InstaPay from today, with conditions that differ by app. On RCBC Pulz the first 30 InstaPay transfers a month are free provided each transfer is at least ₱100; past that count the fee stays ₱10. On RCBC DiskarTech InstaPay is free with no limit on the number of transfers, within a ₱499,999 daily cap. PESONet stays ₱10 and becomes free for individual clients on July 10, 2026.

  • NowInstaPay free, under the Pulz quota described above; PESONet free from July 10
  • EffectiveJuly 4, 2026 for InstaPay, July 10, 2026 for PESONet

The dates come from the BSP’s fee summary, whose RCBC footnote reads: “For individual clients, InstaPay and PESONet fees are FREE effective on 4 July and 10 July 2026, respectively” (BSP ↗ · ). The per-app conditions were reported by BusinessWorld.

Free with a quota

RCBC is the first large bank to attach a monthly count and a minimum amount to a free InstaPay transfer, rather than waiving the fee outright. A Pulz user who sends 30 qualifying transfers in a calendar month pays ₱10 on the thirty-first. Transfers below ₱100 do not count toward the free block.

Today is also the effective date of BSP Circular No. 1238, which ties an institution’s off-us person-to-person fee to its on-us fee plus the switch cost.

Our transfer fees page tracks each bank’s current price, and PESONet covers the batch rail.
