Interbank transfers out of BPI cost nothing from today. Fund transfers to other banks and e-wallets over InstaPay and PESONet are free on the BPI app, BPI Online, VYBE, BanKo and BizKo, effective July 1, 2026, a change BPI announced on June 29. Users of the app had paid ₱10 for an InstaPay transfer and ₱50 for a PESONet transfer.
What changed
- BeforeInstaPay ₱10, PESONet ₱50 on the BPI app
- Now₱0 on both rails
- EffectiveJuly 1, 2026
BPI calls the waiver permanent. Its announcement says transfers “will be permanently free, effective July 1, 2026.” The BSP’s own fee summary records the same step for individual clients in a footnote reading “fees are FREE effective on 1 July 2026” (BSP ↗ · ).
Channels covered
The waiver names five channels: the BPI app, BPI Online, VYBE, BanKo and BizKo. BPI puts its enrolled app users at more than 9.5 million, a figure reported by GMA News and Rappler, which also quotes chief executive TG Limcaoco.
Nothing about the rails themselves changes today, only the price BPI charges to use them. Fees at other banks and wallets are set by each institution: our transfer fees page tracks them, and PESONet explains how the batch rail credits.
