Maya’s main account limit depends on your account type. A Basic account has a ₱50,000 monthly wallet limit. Upgraded raises it to ₱100,000, Super to ₱500,000, and Ultimate to ₱5 million. Those headline amounts do not replace the separate daily and per-transaction caps for purchases, ATM withdrawals, and transfers.
Use the figures below to plan a payment or transfer, then confirm your remaining allowance in the Maya app before you move money. Maya can display the balance of a daily or monthly limit after earlier transactions have used part of it.
Maya limits at a glance
| Account type | Monthly wallet limit | Daily purchase limit | Monthly purchase limit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | ₱50,000 | ₱50,000 | ₱50,000 |
| Upgraded | ₱100,000 | ₱100,000 | Unlimited |
| Super | ₱500,000 | ₱500,000 | Unlimited |
| Ultimate | ₱5,000,000 | ₱5,000,000 | Unlimited |
“Unlimited” in Maya’s table applies to the listed purchase limit or transaction count. It does not mean the wallet can exceed the monthly account limit shown for your tier.
Send money to another Maya user
Basic accounts do not have the Send Money limits listed for the three upgraded tiers. For an Upgraded account, Maya lists a ₱20,000 per-transaction limit, a ₱100,000 daily limit, an unlimited monthly amount, and up to 60 transactions per month.
Super and Ultimate accounts have higher daily limits and no stated monthly amount or transaction-count cap in Maya’s current table.
| Account type | Per transaction | Per day | Per month | Transaction count |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | Not listed | Not listed | Not listed | Not listed |
| Upgraded | ₱20,000 | ₱100,000 | Unlimited | 60 per month |
| Super | ₱20,000 | ₱500,000 | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Ultimate | ₱20,000 | ₱5,000,000 | Unlimited | Unlimited |
If you are receiving money rather than sending it, your available wallet capacity still matters. A transfer can fail when the receiving wallet has already reached the applicable monthly or balance limit.
Maya to bank transfer limits
Maya lists these InstaPay sending limits for transfers to a bank or e-wallet:
| Account type | Per transaction | Per day | Per month | Transaction count |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | Not listed | Not listed | Not listed | Not listed |
| Upgraded | ₱50,000 | ₱50,000 | ₱100,000 | 40 per month |
| Super | ₱50,000 | ₱50,000 | ₱500,000 | 80 per month |
| Ultimate | ₱50,000 | ₱50,000 | ₱5,000,000 | Unlimited |
For incoming InstaPay transfers from another bank or e-wallet, Maya lists ₱50,000 per transaction for every account tier. The receiving account’s remaining wallet limit can still be lower than that figure.

ATM withdrawal limits
ATM withdrawal access appears only for Upgraded, Super, and Ultimate accounts in Maya’s current table. Each of those tiers has a ₱50,000 daily withdrawal amount limit.
Upgraded accounts may make up to 10 ATM withdrawals per day and 60 per month. Super and Ultimate accounts have unlimited daily and monthly ATM transaction counts in the official table, although the ₱50,000 daily amount limit still applies.
An ATM operator may impose a lower per-withdrawal amount or its own fee. Check the on-screen amount and charge before confirming. Our Maya cash-out guide covers the available routes and practical checks.
Cash-in limits by channel
Cash-in limits depend on the funding channel, not only the Maya account tier.
| Cash-in channel | Limit shown by Maya |
|---|---|
| Debit or credit card | ₱10,000 per transaction, up to 5 attempts per day |
| BPI linked account | ₱20,000 per transaction, up to 10 attempts per day |
| Online or mobile banking partner | ₱50,000 per transaction, up to the monthly wallet limit |
| Non-bank or over-the-counter partner | ₱50,000 per transaction, subject to the combined monthly limit |
A partner can impose a lower operational limit. Cashing in also uses the wallet’s available monthly capacity, so splitting one amount into several transactions does not create extra monthly room.
If the money starts outside the Philippines, use our guide to sending money to Maya from abroad to check the remittance route before relying on a domestic cash-in method.
How to check your remaining limit in the Maya app
- Open Maya and tap Profile.
- Choose Account Limits.
- Review the daily and monthly tabs.
- Check the remaining amount before initiating a large transfer, purchase, or cash-in.
The in-app figure is the practical source of truth for your account at that moment because it reflects transactions already counted in the current period.
How to raise your Maya account limit
Maya’s upgrade page says an upgraded account can add and spend up to ₱500,000 per month, depending on the account type you qualify for. The current account-limits table separates Upgraded, Super, and Ultimate tiers, so do not assume that identity verification alone guarantees the highest tier.
The official upgrade process asks for a valid ID, personal details, and a video selfie. Maya says it sends the application result by SMS within 24 hours. Eligibility and the resulting tier are determined by Maya.

Before making a large Maya transaction
Check four numbers, not just one:
- your account tier’s monthly wallet limit;
- the channel’s per-transaction cap;
- the daily limit for that transaction type;
- your remaining allowance in the app.
A ₱50,000 bank-transfer ceiling, for example, does not guarantee that a ₱50,000 transfer will go through when earlier transfers have used the daily or monthly allowance. The recipient’s wallet capacity can also affect an incoming payment.
