CTBC Bank Philippines SWIFT code and local bank code
| Form field | Value | Use |
|---|---|---|
| BIC or SWIFT | CTCBPHMM | An international transfer to a CTBC Bank Philippines account |
| BIC, 11 characters | CTCBPHMMXXX | A form that asks for an 11-character BIC |
| Philippine bank code or BRSTN | 010690015 | PayPal withdrawals and Upwork’s Direct to Local Bank |
| Beneficiary account number | The recipient’s own CTBC Bank Philippines account number | The destination account |
| Beneficiary name | Exactly as registered with CTBC Bank Philippines | The account holder |
The SWIFT code identifies the bank. The BRSTN is a separate Philippine bank code used in specific local-bank forms. Neither code identifies the recipient, so the sender still needs the beneficiary’s own account details.
CTBC Bank (USA), part of the same CTBC group, lists “CTBC Philippines” with the SWIFT code CTCBPHMM in its CTBC Global Network table. PCHC, the operator of PESONet, lists CTBC BANK (PHILIPPINES) CORPORATION with the BIC CTCBPHMMXXX and the BRSTN 01069-001-5, the same nine digits as 010690015.

CTBC Bank Philippines says its Payment and Remittance service handles both inward and outward remittances, with real-time receipt of pesos from any bank in the Philippines (CTBC Bank Philippines ↗). Banks the transfer passes through on the way may take their own charges; the inward remittance fees by bank table compares CTBC’s fee with other Philippine banks.
BRSTN for PayPal and Upwork
PayPal’s Philippine bank-code list prints 010690015 for “CTBC BANK (PHILIPPINES) CORP.”, and Upwork’s Direct to Local Bank table lists the same code under the bank’s former name, “Chinatrust Commercial Bank Corp.” PayPal asks users to check with their bank directly if they cannot find their BRSTN.
