| When the transfer is submitted | BankCom processing time |
|---|---|
| 12:01 AM–9:00 AM | 9:00 AM that day |
| 9:01 AM–12:00 noon | 12:00 noon that day |

Processing and settlement are different
The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas describes PESONet as a batch electronic fund transfer system. Its three-cycle FAQ, dated August 27, 2024, sets out scheme settlement cycles at 10:00 AM, 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM. The BankCom times above are its own customer-facing processing times; they are not the same milestones.
BSP says funds are typically credited within two hours after the receiving institution gets the inward clearing advice. Its 2024 FAQ also describes an initial rollout grace period. Actual timing can depend on the institutions involved. See the PESONet guide for other banks’ cut-offs and the difference between settlement and crediting.
Transfer limit and choosing the rail
BankCom’s FAQ lists a PESONet limit of ₱500,000 per transaction in BankCom [Personal]. It separately lists ₱50,000 per transaction for InstaPay. These are the bank’s stated limits for the relevant channel, ; review your own account and transaction screen for applicable conditions.
For other institutions, consult the transfer-fee comparison and the InstaPay guide. The receiving account must be at a participating institution; the PESONet participant list explains how to check.
Steps
- Open BankCom [Personal] and choose the option to transfer to another bank.
- Select PESONet as the transfer type.
- Enter the recipient’s details and the amount. Review the bank’s confirmation screen and applicable conditions before submitting.
