Four more banks stop charging individual clients for interbank transfers today. BDO, Metrobank, PSBank and China Bank all send money over InstaPay and PESONet free of charge from July 9, 2026. With BDO and Metrobank joining BPI, which waived its fees on July 1, the country’s three largest banks now charge individual clients nothing on either rail.

Metrobank says of its app that “all transfers are now free,” and keeps its limits: InstaPay up to ₱50,000 per transaction and ₱100,000 a day, PESONet up to ₱200,000 a day. China Bank says fund transfers via My CBC are free of charge to other banks on both rails. BDO’s waiver is reported by GMA News, with its earlier ₱10 and ₱50 prices from BusinessWorld; the BSP footnotes carry the July 9 date for all four banks.
