PNB and Security Bank stop charging individual clients for InstaPay and PESONet transfers today. PNB’s waiver runs through PNB Digital and is tied to the bank’s 110th anniversary. Security Bank extends free fund transfers to all customers, where they had been limited to Gold, Wealth, Corporate and Business Banking clients. Three non-bank players move the same day: Maribank goes free, ShopeePay makes InstaPay free for individuals, and GrabPay lowers its InstaPay fee to ₱10. RCBC’s PESONet fee for individual clients also becomes free today.
