How to send from Wise to GCash, the ₱50,000 limit and timing, from Wise’s own pages.
Wise to GCash works as a direct Philippine peso transfer: Wise lists GCash among the mobile wallets it pays out to, caps each mobile-wallet transfer at ₱50,000, and says PHP transfers up to that amount are instant once it has received and converted the sender’s money.
Short answer Send from Wise with PHP as the receiving currency, choose E-Wallet and GCash, and enter the recipient’s name and GCash number. Keep each transfer at or below ₱50,000; Wise shows the fee and delivery estimate before you confirm.

Wise says the ways to pay depend on the sender’s region: bank transfer is often cheapest, and debit or credit card or other local methods may be offered.

The ₱50,000 is Wise’s per-transfer cap. It does not replace GCash’s own wallet and incoming limits, which depend on the recipient’s profile.

What Wise charges
Wise says that to send money to GCash you pay a small flat fee and a percentage of the amount converted, and that it shows the total cost up front. The fee depends on the currency you send and how you pay, so read it on the confirmation screen, together with the exchange rate and the exact PHP amount the recipient gets.
If the transfer is delayed or rejected
- Open the transfer in Wise and check its status; Wise emails you when it receives your money and again when the money is on its way.
- If the payout was rejected, ask the recipient to check their GCash profile and limits with GCash, as Wise advises.
- Check the recipient name and number before sending again, and do not resend while the first payment’s status is unclear.

Warning A transfer goes to the number you enter. Copy the GCash number from the recipient, and never share a Wise or GCash one-time PIN with anyone who offers to help with a transfer.
